The term GeoFluv™ is not a generic term describing landform designs that incorporate fluvial geomorphic characteristics, but rather GeoFluv™ is a trademark for a very specific fluvial geomorphic landform design algorithm. Training in the GeoFluv method is needed to understand the input data requirements and how they affect the design to allow the user to maximize the environmental and economic benefits of the method. The GeoFluv method forms the heart of the Natural Regrade computer software that speeds the calculations needed to design the erosion-resistant upland slopes and related stream channels and to integrate these into a functional landform.
